Its a great read, and I was excited about working on this project, as I had seen LaNayah grow and become quite the entrepreneur from a young age.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Cover Design” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23252525″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” text_transform=”uppercase”][vc_column_text]I read the book in its totality and created the illustration for the cover based on the message that was reinforced throughout the book. What I picked up from the relationship of the two was an undying love and commitment to see the other win at the game of life. Camillya, was a driving force in much of LaNayah’s success but LaNayah was genuinely creative and strong-willed. I wanted the reader to pick up on that as soon as they picked up the book. I wanted them to see the power of their desire to succeed and the strength of their connection.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Composition & Color” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23252525″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” text_transform=”uppercase”][vc_column_text]The layout includes a backdrop of the city of Charlotte, where Camillya and LaNayah thrive throughout the book. The pink, greens, and white automatically resonate with AKAs, who were a vital part of Camillya’s personal growth around the time that LaNayah was born. This would be a hub for connecting to the duo, a connector to their social media, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. My first thought was WordPress. I felt it would give them the tools they need to get things going fairly quickly. The book was professionally published, so purchases are tracked using their ISBN. The site helped to streamline the sales and make it easier to find them.

The site will also serve as a foundation for many of the other products that are set to release under their partnership in the coming months.
Spa Diva, (another company they started) will be releasing the polish referenced in the book, and it will also be sold on the site. The goal now as we expand on the site and their brand, is to open it up with more detail being sure to make their users aware of their progress and growth, which has been documented very well over the past few years.
