The task was to create the overall brand for The My Hair Bundles company.
We also put emphasis on perfecting the look and feel of their My Hair Collection,
which was the first line of products they rolled out.

We focused on elegance, flare, and simplicity.
I applied the same visual magic to the print and web elements.
In the design of the logo, I incorporated blacks, silvers, and golds, which speak to the luxurious energy that Norwood wanted to infuse into the brand.

I designed custom tags and labels for each product.
We set up a photo shoot so that we could get all products captured for inventory
purposes on the website.

The Approach to the Challenge
The industry that Norwood has started his business in is growing fast so he required that the logo and all imagery associated with the brand stood out. His goal was to make a big entrance and I believe that with the work we’ve put together, MyHair Bundles & The My Hair Collections will do just that.
We did some major research on how organizations market themselves in the hair industry and found that there were extremes on both ends. Some were extremely professional while others barely made noise with their logos and their marketing.
One of my biggest focuses when designing logos is typography. I wanted the fonts that I used to be beautiful and alluring. Using a serif font spoke the “wavy” snake-like energy of the hair and also spoke to the sensual nature of hair. Sex sells, I wanted the font to pull people in and give off and sexual, yet professional feel. In addition, the gradients used, and the way the words are stacked, allow the logo to breathe.
Lastly...
It was a joy to work on this project. There were some challenges along the way because of the fact that the groundwork for creating a brand this immense usually has lots of moving parts and I have to stay extremely focused on detail.
I learned throughout the process how important it is to stay consistent in all printed material for products in this industry. The brand has to be quickly seen, no matter what the print collateral is that it is printed on because of how quickly the industry is growing. The last thing I want is for potential customers to confuse the logo with another.
All logos I create are custom-designed to meet the specific needs of the client, and they are designed to last.
