Designing a website is more than just arranging visuals on a page; it’s about telling a story, creating an immersive experience, and connecting with your audience in a meaningful way.
A Wide Gallery
When we took on the redesign of Ann Street Senior Living, the goal was clear: craft a digital space that reflected the warmth, trust, and support the community offers its residents. Here’s how we achieved it:
1. Understanding the Community’s Heartbeat
At its core, Ann Street Senior Living is about people—residents, families, and caregivers coming together to create a vibrant, supportive environment. Our design process began with in-depth research and conversations to capture the essence of this community.
We translated their values into a visual language that feels approachable and nurturing, ensuring the site reflected the same care and consideration residents experience every day.
2. Establishing a Cohesive Visual Identity
A great design begins with a strong foundation. Using their existing branding as inspiration, we leaned into soft, inviting colors paired with clean, elegant typography. The result? A timeless aesthetic that exudes professionalism while remaining warm and approachable.
Every design choice, from the imagery of happy residents to the strategic use of white space, was made to evoke comfort, dignity, and connection.
3. Prioritizing Ease of Navigation
For families and potential residents, navigating senior living options can be overwhelming. We aimed to make the journey as simple and stress-free as possible by structuring the site for clarity and usability.
The navigation bar features intuitive categories, leading users exactly where they need to go, whether they’re looking for services, amenities, or contact information. An emphasis on mobile-friendly design ensures that the experience remains seamless on any device.
4. Highlighting Stories Through Imagery
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a thoughtful image speaks volumes. We curated imagery that captured authentic moments of joy, care, and togetherness within the Ann Street community.
These visuals aren’t just decorations—they’re windows into life at Ann Street. The soft, natural tones create a cohesive story, reinforcing the emotional connection between the viewer and the community.
5. Designing with Accessibility in Mind
Accessibility isn’t just a feature; it’s a necessity. We prioritized ADA compliance to ensure the site is easy to navigate for all users. High-contrast color pairings, descriptive alt text, and legible font sizes ensure that everyone—regardless of ability—can engage with the site effortlessly.
By focusing on accessibility, we’ve created a space that mirrors the inclusivity and care that Ann Street Senior Living extends to all its residents.

The final design for Ann Street Senior Living achieves more than just functionality—it resonates with the emotions and values that define their mission. It’s a platform that invites families to explore, connect, and feel at ease knowing their loved ones are in good hands.
This project reminded us of the power of design in shaping perceptions and fostering trust. When done right, a website isn’t just a digital presence—it’s an extension of the soul of the brand it represents.
